Reading has always held a great interest for me. Science fiction, in particular the works of Isaac Asimov, is one of my favourites.

As far as music goes, I am a great fan of The Beatles, perhaps the single most influential group in Western Popular music.

  Besides the aforementioned groups, I also like Deep Purple, Simon & Garfunkel, The Doors, The Scorpions etc. etc.

  Classical music is also pretty good, esp. Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and some works of Mozart. Holst's "The Planets" is also a very powerful piece of work.

  Of course, Indian music, especially old Hindi film songs, have been and will always be the first love of mine.
